I just wanted to know, how do you know on the RS1800 or where do you find the number to show which number it is of the 493 made.

I have jus brought one, its pacific blue, done 65k miles and pretty clean. Its on a M plate and I just wanted to find out for my own peice of mind.

Cant help you with that but can tell you that was a LOT more made than 493

 

I thought there was only under 500 of them made,

Who does know.

 

Only 500ish made in britain.

A lot more made abroad with plenty of them in this country

 

Alot of rs1800 owners are under the impression that there was 493 made as said yes in this country but in fact there were thousands and thousands made over seas in germany and spain sorry but your car is no where near as rare as you thought
