Does anyone have a picture of efi engine management system wiring diagram? For some reason the Haynes doesn't show the EfI system.
I have a cooked ECT coolant temp sensor, but the feed in at plug is 12v were I'm thinking it should be 5v, it was rebuilt by someone, so I wonder what has possibly been wired in.

I'm not sure about the coolant temp sensor but the early EFI systems are a pain in the a*** as the sensors (I'm sure about the MAP) don't work with a voltage signal but with a frequency signal. So 12V MIGHT be ok but keep in mind testing sensors like the MAP won't work with a simple resistance test.

Cheers bro, I have to clarify I was on the cooling fan switch on thermo housing which looks like ect (I'm Australian ha) . I have 5v at ect under inlet manifold ect and confirmed ect sensor is open circuit. Would love a MK4 escort Ecu diagram found a sierra which looks similar. Down the track I will replace Ecu to a haltech. Try and rip as much as I can from a n/a xr3i. Turbo is the easy way, I'm think original but tuned hard will suffice. Will update how ect replacement goes.
