Hi all. I'm fitting a cigarette lighter to my mk4 which didn't come with one fitted, just a blanking plate. I've had a rummage around looking for the connectors but I can't seem to find them. The stereo loom disappears up behind the dash so I assume the lighter connector would be up there too. Am I looking in to right place?

 

I found it. Had to remove part of the dash. Will post pictures later in case it helps anybody else.

 

I had to remove the heater controls & air duct to get to the loom at the back of the dash. It was easier to remove the radio too.

Here's the connector, it is tucked away by the white click in the top left of the picture.
