Default Suitable replacement relay??

Hi all
Just wondering if it is essential to replace the fuel pump relay on an xr3i mfi with an original one from another car or do these standard "furl pump relays" from eBay or euro car parts work just as well?

The original second hand pink relays for sale can be a bit pricey for a part your not even 100% actually work and most ebayers won't grunted it either. However their seem to be a few non specific fuel pump relays for sale quite cheaply on ebay and also a few relays from eBay, euro car parts and gl motor factors which are specific for my model of escort (or so the say). So does anyone know if they are OK? And if they are then why are so many people paying loads for second hand ones which are a gamble?!

Original ones can be going for 40-60 quid or possibly around the 20 quid mark for a ruff looking, found at the bottom of a box one.

These replacement ones I'm asking about are as little as a tenner!

Thanks for the info pal. I'm guessing I'll find the amp rating stamped on the real somewhere?
