hi, im after some pictures of RS1600i's as im after one, any will do but im after side on and engine mainly cheers in advance

i am indeed, what am i to look for when getting one, having an escort rs already, im could imagine stuff like batt tray arches are the things to look at, but what about engine problems and stuff like that ,any help will be appreciated

 

just the usual MK3 escort rot area's - mine had the following :-

battery tray
fuse box
front floor pans
sills

Engine wise - as long as its got all the 16i bits and bobs in the right place - then should be okay,just look for the usual blue smoke on start up.

I take it then - you got a S2 then ????

If you're after a good RS1600i and you've got a couple of grand come round and check mine out (as advertised in the classified section). My car is 100% standard (including the radio and exhaust) and pretty much rot free; i'd keep it if i hadn't just bought a house !!! Come down for the day and i'll educate you on RS1600i's (i've had six now) and on top of that the RSOC's RS1600i guru lives but a stones throw away. If you're up for it drop me a mail.
