Default Mk6 rs2k help!

Hi, desperately need some advice guys. I own a mk6 which I’m trying to use for track days ( when it’s not braking down) recently put a new engine in with a 2.3 bottom end and standard rs2k head and the performance I feel just isn’t there. Run 165bhp on rolling road. It has a omex 600,standard injection, standard cams, standard manifold. Standard box but with quaife Atb diff and 4.8 final drive. Can’t seem to find much info on performance parts anywhere. Also it’s running way to hot and can’t find a alloy road replacement either. I think it has something to do with pulling the heater matrix out as I’ve changed the water pump and thermostat and rad.
Any suggestions would be great.

What about the head gasket is it the RS2000 or the 2.3 gasket?
Possible that its overheating without the correct gasket and a fabricated or some aftermarket mating gasket will be needed as the 2 engines parts will differ.
Wont this have to be now a

Worth asking on www.rs2000-16v.com, plenty of expertise on the 2.3 conversion on there. From what I gather, the 2.3 doesn't give a big power increase, but gives a decent increase in torque, at the sacrifice of not being quite so revvy as the 2.0.

What's the 4.8 final drive from out of interest?
