Rs2000 chipped??
Recently bought a mk6 rs2000, I was told it was chipped?.... I personally don't agree with them and want it removed? How would I check and go about removing the chip? Thanks!

If its been chipped open the ecu and take a look but i wouldnt want to remove it and put another back in you may as well get another ecu.
If its been remapped you wont tell by looking at it again just best to replace the ecu.
but if it has been why do you want rid?

its simple to check remove the passenger side kick panel and see if the cradle has been opened, if there is a gold rivet securing it chances are the seller was telling porkies as its not chipped, normally a chip will make it run smoother giving better fuel economy, well it did on my 4x4 thats for sure or if it has one it may be even loose and simply need a clean and re plugging in as chips are not all about power good ones like superchips are about mapping
