Put the twin coils on today - car started first time but it's running on 2 or 3 cylinders - there is a spark at every plug - any ideas?

Had this problem before Does it run fine when revved up? if so its probrably a breakdown in the leads. Have they got new leads/old leads/bodged on leads fitted to em?
If not one of the coils is not working properly.

Yeah - it runs fine above 2500rpm - lumpy tickover and missing when you rev it upto 2500rpm. Do you think it could be the leads then? they are original but not in A! condition.

Leads mate theyre breaking down somwhere, then when you rev it up the coils generate more power, enough to bridge the gap
Get the leads done, you can either bodge new XR3 leads on or get proper ones from magnecor, i got burton power to do mine.
