Hi all,

I have just brought an N plate RS2000 and would like to get it on a rolling road and get it set up correctly.
The engine is completely standard, was serviced every year and was owned by the same guy from new.

I just need to find a decent rolling road around this area.

Torque of the Devil are about 40 miles away from you, I keep hearing good things about them. www.torqueofthedevil.com

 

there isn't really any point in RR'ing it unless you are tuning it, its not a highly strung engine.
But other than TOTD and Power Engineering in Uxbridge, there is Surrey Rolling Roads in Aldershot I think it is

I can highly recomend Torque of the devil.

I'm not that far away from you in Bracknell, and found TOTD very helpfull, had my first rolling road session done on a Saturday.

It sounds like TOTD is one of the best around.

I know its not tuned but hey, it doesn't hurt to have the engine set up right.

Once I've got that sorted I'll probably look at doing some upgrades.

What do you drive? and do you got to any Ford meets at all?

I'm thinking of taking the RS to some soon, but need to get the engine running properly first as it's rattling like a JCB on steriods at the moment.

I am hoping it's just in need of a good oil change. The last time it was done was January 2007, and even then I'm not sure if they put the right oil in.

 

I drive a white RWD Sapphire .
the nearest meet is the Berks/Hants PF meet held at Sherfield on Lodden only 5 miles or so from me.

 

When do they run that? and do you go very often?

I have only had my RS2000 for about a month and would like to get to meet some of you guys to get some help and tips on what I can do to improve mine.

It's not running right at the moment so it's current resting up in my garage awaiting for TLC.
