Default rs16i strut brace

hi can any body help, i have a 1982 16i with the early type front suspension set up (two bolt type).i am thinking of fitting a front strut brace to go with my nice shiny new suspension,the trouble is i can only find a two bolt one that is fitted to a xr3,will this one fit, if so who makes them,i've found an omp one but does anybody else make them,thanks

Hi mate the XR3 one will fit, its a bit tight around the heater fan shroud but it will fit

I have a OMP one on mine, Sparco does them too i think

thanks mate, ive also been offered a rear strut brace,is it worth fitting this or not,

Not sure mate, some people say theyre great, some say theyre a waste of money, i havent got one myself but with my go kart suspension i probrably wouldnt notice any improvement

Looks nice though mate how good is the fitment? is it tight against the airbox? (for the heater fan)

Its sweet mate, just rests in there really well, i dont have to push the box back at all, made to order, think about £35 of that was postage mate

but its deffinately different to others i have seen from say sparco and the like
