underseal?

underseal?
whats the best [easiest] way to remove the orig ford rubber type u/seal? would a hot air gun be any good?i want to take it back to bare metal for a nice paintjob

From: under the cabby... i think.
try a blow torch and a wallpaper scraper, or a blow torch and a wire brush in the end of a drill, u get covered though.

you can get some aerosol chemical that sprays on and removes the underseal.

i used a paint stripper hot air gun and it peels off fine just a bit smokey thats all

is the shell stripped? if so i would recomend soda blasting, if not a heat gun, scraper then a wire wheel in a drill

I plan to heat gun and peel as much as poss, maybe squirting thinners into harder bits. Then tilt it on it's side on my spit and blast it off outside.
