Default Kerbed Wheel

Hi all,

Can anyone help? The missus was parking our Fiesta Zetec S outside the house on the weekend and kerbed the two passenger side wheels - the world officially came to an end .

There are a lot of companies out there claiming to refurbish wheels, but I know from speaking to friends that the quality level can be extreme i.e one end of the spectrum to the other. Does anyone know of a good company (either mobile or a garage) in the Hertfordshire area that they can recommend?

Many thanks,

JPM

Yes, I've used these guys, BJV at Flaunden: http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk/contact.htm

They were recommended to me by my mobile tyre man and did an excellent job on 2 large expensive Audi alloys.

I too have had very bad experiences with chips away. A five year old can paint better than the clowns who did my wheels. Ended up getting my money back. I found a company that specialised in prestige car wheel refurbishment so they had to be good as they were working on high end cars all day.

Hi all,

Thanks for your thoughts, especially the name of the company near Bovingdon. That is up the road so I will probably give them a call.

Thanks,

JPM

They are a bit hidden away on a mini industrial estate effectively in a farmyard! So read the directions on the web site carefully!
I'm used to the little lanes around there so found them easily enough.
