I gave my fiesta a quick clean today just wash and rinse, I'm going to do a bit of detailing on it as I've not had it long and it all depends on the outcome will depend if I keep or sell, I did plan on doing it today but due to a bit of heat I pulled out, just wondering what detailing work is safe to use in high temps or is it worth just waiting for a cool morn/eve
Can't believe no ones picked up on this one.
I think most are ok for working in heat, the few dodo juice and poorboys bits I have all say ok for any weather conditions on the bottles.
I wouldn't leave things like snowfoam or thick polishes or waxes on too long in the sun tho as I've found they bake n dry up abit making it tougher to buff off and some go abit dusty.

Yeh that's the issue as I have a dark car buy the time I've finished cleaning it on a good day you can see the wax's and polishes reacting to the heat as I put it on, and even once applied and removed I'm forever removing dust/smears
On a tangent

I wouldnt do it in direct sunlight, as pointed out above polish/waxes will go like concrete or just smear like a bitch.
Do it in the shade!!!
warmth is fine but baking hot aint good for paint or laquer, it will go pourous quite quick,, plus the sun glare off the panels/glass will be like arc eye
If U got a quiet multistorey car park local then pop down,...
Ł3 for all the shaded goodness you need to do a pukka job
Ive done it many a time
