I was looking at the autobrite gun and foam and watching ther demo it produced a really thick foam so i might just get that one instead of the karcher one
Thanks for the quick reply

I got a HD foam lance from Ebay and its fab, cost me £45 but its worth it. I also find Magifoam (also available on Ebay) to be top class. Set the foam lance to full foam and cover the car with 2" of thick foam and leave it for 30 mins then simply power wash. Unless the car it caked with mud I find that there is no need to use a bucket and micro-mit.
Ive got 2 foam lances from autobright they are spot on,to get thick foam you need nice warm water, its makes a massive differance, also the ratio of foam to water in the bottle makes a differance aswell

I use the meguairs foam through AB,s HD lance . for heavy duties i use an APC all purpose cleaner . I,d avoid home products personally but i,d love to see bubble bath in action haha
