What do people rate in the world of Clay Bars?
I've tried the Megs quick-clay bar and found it good for very light contamination, but absolutely dire on deep and concentrated contamination (even after maching muffing with AG3 Advanced Liquid Compound).
So basically, a good clay bar that will remove heavy contamination and ground in dirt while not marring the paint or scratching it.
Cheers

Given the problem described, the Meguiars Detailing Clay Aggressive would be ideal, as it works well but doesn't marr provided your method is sound and you use a good quality lubricant like Meguiars Last Touch diluted 1:1. Full details here...

Cheers boys
The Megs aggressive clay is what I was looking at on the website - the problem with what I have is what they describe as "rail dust" - tiny metal fines in the paint that rust and heavily contaminate
Great website Rich

Can u not get most of the area clean and just use a less aggresive clay on the delicate area, atleast this will get it as clean as poss then u can protect the area with a decent wax or sealent prevent crap getting in to it or near it.
I once detailed an Audi that had been stored in a hanger where they are constantly grinding etc and the only clay that worked was the Megs agressive, awesome stuff.
