Ok, this is not car related but its for the plastics on my bike. Its bare blue plastic and has a few minor scuffs and some very fine marks/scratches.

Is there a plastic polish that i can use to get these out and still keep a nice shine? Or is there a good method i could use to get rid of these?

I realise i could flat them down but obviously i would have dull patches so would need something to bring it back to a shine if possibe. Im assuming there will actually be an abrasive product specifically for this maybe?

im having same prob on my quad, dont flat them, it just scratches it worse and as yet
i havent found anything to bring it back up, tried all my car stuff with no succsess
tried maquires plastic polish and that no better....

ive been told you can use a high speed machine polisher but im worried about burning the plastic!!! i got a 2nd hand set coming this week so going pratise on them

 

Hi mate, yes ive just had the meguires plastx suggested to me in GD, but if you say its no good for it then ill not bother. I might try flatting the reverse side down and giving it a mop to see how it turns out.

Let me know how you get on mate and ill do the same.

 

Tyr Graygate plastic polish guys - used to use it to polish out has on a plastic rear window on my convertible abd it used to come up great!

I may have some of this still, I will have a look mate as I could do with sorting my plastics too... Though ones of them is Ł$%KED now after I came off it AGAIN the last time me and pembridge went out!

duraglit used to do a plastic polish for plastic and glass similar to the kits you can buy in mobile phone shops to polish out scratches in phone fronts etc.
