whats its all about?.discuss..seen detailers measuring when doing there thing..whats the minimum thickness?

Commonly, the clearcoat is circa 60-80 micron thick. some more, some less, On Enzo's we are talking in the 20's and Zonda's are pretty low too.

on the saph its solid colour though so no laquer
and the paint depth will depend on if its been painted at any point
just dont use polish that cuts as this just removes layers of paint
