Working closely with brake manufacturers we are often asked about wheel cleaners to remove brake dust and general grime.
After testing many non acidic cleaners we have found one that actually works.
The pics below are my 08 plate VW that since being delivered 5 months ago has covered 30,000 miles and never had its wheels cleaned so I figured this would be a good test !!
Before

The only tools used (a self supplied trigger spray) and a watering can

Apply and let soak

Oh I lied! My only other tool - my finger !!

30,000 miles of crap just wipes away !!

Rinse (no high pressure jets here)

Result (5 minutes later
)

Used some awful smelling and abrasive acidic wheel cleaners in the past as nothing non acidic could compare but im now converted and my road and track wheels are both clean and safe again
Deary me i'm turning bufty

We are a distribution point for the Cartec brand and the sole importer is near you at Elsmere port.
Can you organise me a plain bottle to try against what we sell ( and i swear by ).?? I'll get you a bottle in return? Always good to try alternatives....

Bilberry has good reviews yes
But at £13.49 per litre on Ebay it should be good
I take it you mean this

£8.95 plus £6.72 postage (cheapest option) from your link actually puts it dearer than the stuff sold on Ebay
But even at that price it looks worth it.
