i made the mistake of buying a car in the rain, therefore couldnt see what the paint was like, well most of it was very good condition, but the bonnet after i had managed to wash it seems to be another story, from inside the car from say a driving position, the bonnet looks like glass when polished, but at nighttime when you try and look at a reflection, the paint loses its sheen and the reflection is really broken up.

its not quite oragnge peely but its definately not smooth, kind of very shallow dips in the finish all over. will this need wet flatting ad re cut then a polish or is it time tp get the bonnet re sprayed?
