How do you change colour of leather?

What do you want to change? Do you just want to restore colour to an item that has greyed but was black originally? This may be possible, but changing an actual grey item to black won't be, without dying it.

If you actually want to dye the leather, you'll need to remove the wheel and do it professionally, although i'd be wary about the dye coming off on your hands, especially in the summer...
