When i signed in today it came up with a message saying, "newer version available for download" in blue text on the main window(where your buddy list is) so i click on it and it goes to the version 7.5 set up which is the version ive already got

So i just clicked cancel and then the message had gone, so i signed out and back in agian and its still not there.

Anyone else ever had this?

Nah its not an update mate, clicking on said message takes me to the offical msn download page and it wants me to download version 7.5 which ive already got but yesterday i just thought sod ill just re-download the thing to get rid of the message so thats what i did, so far so good at the moment

 

What it is, the latest version is 7.5 which most of us have, but..... have u noticed the numbers after 7.5?? for instance> 7.5.0322.
Its the last few numbers that change each time u install a 7.5 update.

To find the other numbers, in MSN go to Help, and click about MSN Messenger.

 

just back track then update it again

I tried that 2 weeks ago but after 10mins i wanted 7.5 back!

Just identical really except its so hard to see whos online and who's offline just by a quick glance, you really have to look and theres no little pictures by there names, just the green/red msn heads.

 

I had the msg too, i was searching for Msn8 beta and couldn't find it.

 

You have to have an invite...
