How cna i find out if my DVD RW is a dual layer other than getting a Dual Layer DVD?

Mine has a DVD + R DL Logo under the RW tag on the drawer.

What burner you got?

its a hl-dst-gwa-4040n..

Laptop is an Advent 7062 - it has a dual layer writer as standard, but mine has been replaced under warrenty, and it appears different.
