Cable (100m reel) = Ł12.87 (link)
Connectors (100) = Ł5.86 (link)
Crimping tool = Ł6.45 (link)

Make your own, much cheaper! Shout if you need any info on how to actually do it......oh, and since you're in Reading, you'll need to add delivery to those prices. But, if you can find a similar computer-shop down there, give me a shout and I'll give you a step-by-step on making/crimping a cable from a reel...

By the way, I hope you have a bit of patience, it can be a bit of a pain to do the first time you try it, because it's quite fiddly!

Ł51 for an 80m pre-made cable, compared to roughly Ł25 for a 100m you have to make yourself (plus you are left with another 98 connectors, and the crimping tool, so you only need to pay Ł12 if you wanted another 100m of cable on a reel), I know which I'd choose!

Do you have the RJ-45 ends and crimping tool, or did you go for a pre-made cable in the end?
