Default Computer screen keeps going black for a few seconds?

Not exactly an amateur when it comes to computers but this one has me utterly stumped.
I run two HP Pavillion 22xi Monitors from a NVieda Geforce GT610 card. One is DVI and the other HDMI.

The monitor that is plugged in to the HDMI port is my primary monitor and every few minutes it just goes black for second then carries on fine.
The computer carries on running as per normal while the primary screen is black as does the second screen.
It started one evening last week.

Anyone got any ideas?

I've updated the drivers, swapped the screens around and changed the leads.

Bailes.

And the fault still stays with the HDMI port?

Sounds like the card's fucked mate. Does it happen from cold? Or more frequently when hot?

All of it was new since Christmas so all under warranty.
I do/did suspect the card though!
Temperature doesn't seem to change anything, not that I give it much abuse. I only go on forums and facebook
Swapped the HDMI cable and it hasn't happened for nearly 10 mins where it was doing it every minute or so, maybe I've fixed it

Check your windows event viewer, you might have had a display driver crash. usualy nvxxxx.dll for Nvidia cards. It happened to me in games and also in windows

I have had the same issue intermittently when using either a DVI 1280x1024 monitor or a 27 " HDMI BenQ XL2720T.

I did nothing to fix it, it stopped on its own. I changed drivers with no effect previously apart from making things worse (new problems)
