Upgrading laptop hardware
Is it possible? Laptop in question is a Toshiba Satellite C850D-107.
I used to play a lot of Counter-Strike: Source on a pretty good spec PC when I lived at home (it was my brothers) but now I own my own house all we have is the laptop I bought earlier in the year for my girlfriend to occasionally work from home on.
CS:GO on Can you run it website

CS:S on Can you run it website

On that site the CS:GO search failed miserably on the minimum/recommended little chart thing that can be seen in the CS:S pic. I just couldnt fit it in the screenshot.
Cheers guys.

The only upgrade I would normally consider on a laptop is more RAM.
Everything else is normally too specifically designed to tight tolerances and a more powerful CPU for example (if possible, which physically it may not be) would probably mess with cooling and other systems.

With CPU - just buy a new computer...

Cheers guys for the answers its what I expected to see tbh.
I considered more RAM but think its pretty pointless having say 8gb RAM if the CPU speed isnt upto the task.
Some nice looking machines on PCSpecialist website! Can get them on the drip too.. Just gotta convince the bank manager, my girlfriend
