I bought one of these to watch movies on holiday but the volume is too low to be able to hear when listening through earphones on a plane.

Seems a lot of people have the same problem but I can't find a solution that works. (If I had found out about this problem before buying it I'd have picked a different tablet.)

Anyone here have any suggestions?

 

Have you checked in the setting for a safe volume lock? My s4 warns me when going over a certain volume, failing that theres 2 options a headphone amplifier or flash a volume mod onto your device http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1889522
