on a serious note, you can pick up cheap microsoft office suite from sites who sell to students at discounted rates.

A friend of mine picked up office for Ł30 all legit and all

stupidly I did actually expect some form of that reply
did think of the student one but heard that Microsoft were knocking it on the head due to the amount of abuse the system got

and if you want to pm me any places thats fine .... had too many dodgy pc's and laptops come to me for virus removal after using "cough cough naughty" copies ... so only legit one please

I bought a cheap 'new and sealed' copy of office 2010 off ebay, it worked for a month and then the serial key got blocked and that was Ł70 wasted. My advice would be to buy a authentic version from a trusted website.

yeah just had a look on the bay, in some ways I just begrudge paying a stupid amount of money for something that I wont always use.
did try open office but some of the docs I have don't like it..

Have you tried kingsoft office 2012 is free like open office but is better at importing office docs than most of the other free ones.

i use Libreoffice, totally free and does everything i need it to. compatible with other office programs too.
