i beleive these little gems are popular this year as i have found out! for the life of me i cant seem to get my hands on one from a shop (not Internet) does or has anyone brought one from a shop and if so where? ive tried the norm like, apple shop, currys/pcworld,john lewis everywhere seen to be out, or do i just order one and hope its here by xmas!

My local CEX phone shop normally has some, ok it won't be brand new from Apple but it should still be in as new condition as they have only just come out.

Depends how desperately you need one........

 

i dont want to sound like a snob but i need it to be new mate, + it needs to have cellular, but yes i am pretty deperate.

 

Everywheres out of stock mate thats why i had to order direct from apple . Seems to be a batch order type thing . You order but have to wait for X amount of orders to be placed before they will ship them out . Dunno how true this is though

Tried Tesco? Needs to be a big tesco though, only top 20 in Britain sell iPad minis. If you order it from Apple and want it for Xmas you HAVE to do it before 11.59 tonight! They have plenty left on the website it seems.

 

In fact ignore what I said above about apple, deadline was 28th Nov for Xmas delivery for iPad mini!

my daughters took a month to come from apple ordered the day they were released as the shop didnt have them on the day

 

I ordered 2 1st dec and and they arrived last week, meadowhall had loads in on Tuesday.

 

Try your local Carphone Warehouse. They are in stock in the larger stores, or smaller stores can order from the main warehouse. Delivered to the store for you within 2 working days, plus you get 1 month free insurance at the moment.

That's what we done, turned up this morning.

 

Our CFO ordered 1, with 3g+WiFi, via Apple at the end of Nov. Was quoted 28th Dec Manufacturing date with a Jan delivery date.

 

I just ordered one from PC world, you can get it delivered to your local store, for free, the next day by 5pm. So I've just ordered it, and I should pick it up at 5pm tomorrow

 

Just got one from John Lewis, 16GB with 3G.
