Anyone know if a decent tablet cheaper than an iPad. iPad would do everything I want but seems a lot of money. I know the Samsung tablet is good but still same sort of money

Is the google or archos or kindles anygood? How about any of the other cheap ones on eBay.

I know they are excellent, I've got a iPhone and love it but money is tight at moment so If I could get something as good a lot cheaper then that's what I would go for. Running 2 cars and morgate is catching up with me at moment lol.

Anyone know what the blackberry play book is like? My little girl wants a iPad but I'm not paying out for one she is 5, want something that can download the learning apps etc, not really for use on Internet

She is behind at school so I thought with the apps to help with spelling and numbers, she thinks its a game but really she is learning, she won't be going on Internet, it will be a Xmas present if I do get her one,

had a look at a mate's nexus 7 last night. very heavy for it's size. good size for carrying around, but I'd want a bigger screen if I were only going to use it at home.

 

I just got the Galaxy Note 10.1, pretty awesome. Wasn't cheap but then it wasn't as expensive as the iPad.
I would recommend.

 

Acer also make very good tablet computers but not sure on prices

I picked up a nexus 7 in hmv the other day and loved it! it was quick nice to use the screen looked better than the one on the ipad better colours ect and a pretty amazing price! TBH id get one over the ipad if i had the choice now, i just felt like it was a very well priced product and did everything it needed to.

Although im not sure about the screen size on the 7, and what it would be like to live with every day.


day to day the ipad is great and works without fault.

 

Wrap it in bubble wrap if you get one, the digitisers are sooo fragile!
One of the things that stopped me getting one as I'm a clumsy cunt. Oh, and the fact I didn't need one.

 

I have the original Ipad but just bought a 64gb blackberry playbook and its an awsome bit of kit, especially for £129 find myself taking that over my ipad now
