Default Hot computer

Installed my Broadband last night and since then have noticed that my pc is running around 10 'C hotter. Is this correct or should i be worried . PC has a tripple fan power supply and a separate fan in the side of the case plus the one on the CPU so surley this should be enough.

What do you think.

Paul.

If you've got a USB modem then it is possible that there could be a little juice used to power the modem, thus making it slightly hotter, but 10 degree's from a modem is a bit eccessive IMO

Unless, you're hammering the net like I do and it's your hard drive getting a bit hotter. What temp does it run ?

Got to admit ive been a bit busy hitting the net now that i can click on a page and it actually opens.

according to the temp read out on the CPU it usually sits around 26-28 deg but since i installed the modem (external USB type) lastnight and started browsing it has risen to 35-36 deg dunno just dont want to fry the PC as i just built it before Christmass
