just a heads up, was wandering around toys r us today and it's priced at £25 reduced from £38
if you are popping out for some late night shopping, worth a punt

in terms of graphics it's just insane... Much better than COD. I'm waiting fot my new Graphics card to play it in ultra settings because it looks so nice.
I have a geforce 9600 pro and i was able to run COD in Ultra settings, but Battlefield only runs in MEDIUM (there is still HIGH and ULTRA).
Storywise i can't tell, only played the beggining

i thought the graphics on both were pretty good on an xbox/42 lcd combo. i think the COD MW3 gameplay is more intense though.

i've played mw3 and i really enjoyed it
but recently, they have been spamming the adverts with bf3 and it does look incredible, so when it was there for a bargain price, i just had to have a go

I gave up gaming years ago, too costly especially on the pc as you have to upgrade every few months to keep up with the times

No wonder its dropped down in price, its such a shit game i got rid as soon as the end credits started to roll. Worst Battlefield game of the series and uglist FPS in the last couple of years. Winners of the FPS genre this year has to be a close one between MW3 and Resistance 3.

Yes battlefield 3 graphics are shockinly awful, yes EA took a giant leap backwards from BF2, which actually was a good game(SP mind) BF3 SP is shite, and the MP is even worse. like i said uglyist FPS in recent years. Best looking FPS in recent years is Resistance 3.

Oh and Uncharted 3 is better than MW3 and best game of the year...... Such an awesome game im a happy owner of the platinum trophy, rarely a game makes me play so hard to earn this 'reward'.

must admit found the graphics are little pants on the PS3, Playing GT5 all the time I know the PS3 can do better, but then I have played BF3 on a high spec PC and they are fucking brilliant, single player is entertaining, and fun, online I cannot tell you the times I have tried I just got fucking shot in seconds.....
For me this type of game must be played on a PC with mouse and keyboard, cannot sort it on a game controller, got stuck needing to shoot a car at high speed could not sort it..... given up.....
so 30 notes wasted, but that would be on any 3rd person shooter on a PS3, spent the same amount on GT5 and playing it for over a year now thats value for money.
