So was there an official statement from someone of relevance saying they are going to/have fixed it ????. Last i heard was the game wasnt coded with extra security and relied on the ps3 security so theres nothing activision/infinity ward can do about the hackers.

Like most of you lot i was working through the challenges in an honest fashion, but yesterday the 10% 20% 30% Ginge mentioned popped up on my screen during a free for all I was in, i left the game but my challenges are all completed/unlocked, im raging!!!

The thing is, all the menus and options being unlocked/exploited by the hackers/cheats were programmed into the game by infinity ward/activision... when theyve finished testing the game why dont they remove the code for these menus/options before releasing the game!?!?

Because theyre wankers who know millions will buy their games due to the brands power and when a problem like this rears its head they wont do anything about it, probably mainly due to black ops being out and theyd rather concentrate on that and they also hope you will just go over to that instead.

They should tackle the problem with sony to sort it as ultimately they admit they knew the game was relying on the ps3`s own security, the xbox 360 platform always uses 3rd party security in games as theyre basically a windows coded game so hackers could easily hack a xbox 360 game without it, infinity ward are to blame in my eyes for being lazy and relying on someone elses security, due to that though theyre passing the buck and saying its sonys fault, its there way of saving themselves money. They know they spit a new cod game out ever year so they dont seem to give a shit about "legacy" games from the series.

I'm certanly not endorsing this BUT, one of my friends that I play online with downloaded the hack program that you need to do this and now force's himself as HOST.

Doesnt use the hack for anything else other than to force HOST. He, like everybody else is sick of all this shit that is going on and now enjoys the game the way we all used to.

I only play MW2 with him now as I dont want to risk losing/gaining everything as he is always hosting the game and hackers cant open the hack menu if they are not hosting.

Forcing host is not always as easy as it seems, it takes forever to start a game because all the hackers are also using force host so they can hack when they play.

Havoc has already JB'd 3.56 as well, seems its becoming easier each patch, Mind you it might cause him a bit of trouble after reading through the legal papers against Geohot and Fail0verflow.
