Before i smash this comp up!!!! Right got a new computer and when im on the net, after a while if i open a new Explorer the page does nothing and if i go to drop down the menu bar it frezzes! any idea why it does this? only way to stop it then is switching of and restarting

fook of its new!!!! Think someone said before might be a prob with XP and theres an update for it ? will have to wait until Friday when im on Broadband to to any d/ling of patchs though

 

u got any other probs with the running mate. Do your windows updateds for one, quite important with xp at the moment. as its more vunrable that a naked 20 year old with her babilons out.
Do your updates. also does it happen on all pages or just vertain ones. I get some issues some time cos I have narrow band so every thing takes so bloody long

 

Nah mate just after a while if i open up explorer to look at other web sites it freezes when i try and go into the drop down menu bar!


Best wait till Friday when i get BB than and will d/l all the updates and see if that solves the probs

 

Have you scanned for any spyware or viruses etc?

Best to scan for a virus, also clear your temp internet files and history, then run all the windows updates, driver updates and windows messenger 4.7 are optional
