anyone else having difficulties playing modern warefare? Mine says something about not being able to get trofey information then crashes. Doing system restore now but I'm worried?

Mine was crashing after the new update, would always crash when you had to select a weapons class and would only turn off manually when you held the power off button - would beep 3 times too.
That was resolved by deleting the update.
Last night though was something different and weird. The game would load to the screen where you could select single player, co op or multiplayer and then a black screen would come up saying unable to load trophy information and give an error code of 8002291A and then crash.
After a lot of fucking about I had to do a complete system restore that took circa 3 hours, load all my network settings then re-sync my trophy information before modern warfare 2 would work again.
All seems to be working now although i think my playstation may be nearing death as i've had a few issues with it lately.
One thing that i have noticed since the restore is that it loads a lot quicker and when switching from menu to menu it's much quicker.
I'm not going to load any movies or music to it now and regularly delete my messages to help keep her unstressed.
Was gutted i lost tecken tho i wounder if sony will let me download it for free since i've got proof of purchase???

FINALLY got my first nuke last night!
Sat on a 23 kill streak for ages, then 27 then 30 then kept hitting 24/25/26/27 all the time but never had the nuke selected.
Soon as i selected the nuke in my killstreaks i couldn't get to 25 for love or money 23/24 about 7 times. flinging controllers an shit
Finally last night i got it on highrise, quite sad that i am so excited about a computer game? 
Sat on a 23 kill streak for ages, then 27 then 30 then kept hitting 24/25/26/27 all the time but never had the nuke selected.

Aye its good. Going to prestige again i think so wont have the nuke for a wee while, will probably not select it again anyway, predator is more valuable in terms of getting bigger streaks imo, pretty much guarenteed harriers wher as getting to harriers without predator isn't all that easy, really.

Turned the PS3 on and did the two massive game/online updates... played one game with some randoms and found it boring so turned it off again. Its just not much fun when you don't know who you're shooting.
I hadn't been online since the end of November/beginning of December?!?

That's one of the reasons I've stopped playing MW2 for now. Every game turns into a hunt to find the retarded boosters. That, and the fact the game is so unbalanced through the perks and kill streaks which reward a camping style of play, the stupid spawn system is crap and painkiller and heartbeat sensors can go fuck themselves.
