Really? I had a little go earlier - just one game - and found it fine. No worest or better than COD4 but that said i do pay mega bucks for a decent connection.
Re invite friends, again limited knowledge at this point in time, as apposed to going to a different menu screen like in COD4 and WAW it looks as though you've pressed the PS button by mistake as it opens the PS3 drop down menu and you can selected your friends that way??? It even tells you what type of game they are playing such as free for all, capture the flag etc.

The friends invite bit is shocking! Also i couldn't even accept one!!!!!!
You'll never get away from the lag issues really.. people play from all over the globe which doesn't help.
Good thing i've found is if the game host fucks off it's pauses the game finds another host and then has a 5 -1 countdown n starts from where it left off

Im getting it at weekend , dont know why though as im not the fastest at shoot em ups . Reactions of a snail lol . Will be getting some practice on COD 4 over the next week if i can get my 10 yr old son off the PS3 .

the invite bit has join party so you can jump in to a game your mates are in without them inviting you if there is space

I just love when people piss and moan about a new game coming out saying how wank and shit it is because its not working right. What are people expecting? You can do all the beta testing in the world but the real bugs show up when it goes live!
You have any idea the influx of people joining these servers the past 48 hours. Of course there is going to be problems and I'm sure they'll have patches out sooner than later to shut up the whiners.
