Epson Stylus C42

For some reason it wont print black

theres black ink but it just wont do it... i've cleaned the heads etc and its the same.

any ideas?

Ink Level

Did you use the ink monitor in the utilitys to find out the levels because its a known issue for epson ink monitor to not work properly. if yes i would try and replace the black cartridge

Yep mine did that it said it had plenty of black ink. but it was empty.
