dead Xbox
my brothers x box has got the red light of death on it at the moment (i think it keeps overheating?) and i've been charged with sorting it out (what do i know about x box's?
)
someone at work reckons Microsoft are covering this fault for 3 years and it's about 12 months old - is this right?
any information will be gratefully passed on to my brother who can sort his own stuff out

3 years thing is true or if your too lazy and want a tempoary fix then youtube for "the ring of death fix" and you can use a few towels to get it going for a little while, i guarantee it will go back to the three rings though

Yes it 3 years not sure how it works though as mine has been fine so far but I understand they send you a box, you send post it off then wait for a new one/repair. Call them up.
