just installed somesoftware for a usb device, and now when the pc boots up to window, ive got a permenent egg timer, cant do a thing!

ctrl, alt & delete wont work to bring up the task manager.

what the steps now, belive i need to boot it in safe mode? and not allow the crap bit of software to start, but never done this before?

 

keep hitting f8 on boot up and you can select either last known good configuration or safe mode or a few other options

 

oh panic over egg timers gone, time to uninstall that abit and try again!
