my pc is dog poo
spec
intel celeron cpu 2.7
256 of ram
s3 pro savage gfx card
can i just change my gfx card, add more ram and change the cpu processor?
and this would bring my pc closer up to date?
or is it a can or worms? will i need a matching motherboard with the cpu processor?
also i looked up processors on ebay and some come with gfx card built in??
id like to upgrade myself and get some experience
any info would be great

just viewed some vids on google and learnt abit already
if my motherboard doesnt have express pci, pci or agp slots in it them i cant upgrade my video/gfx card because the card i will be intergrated into the motherboard
so, does that mean that to upgrade my video card i will need to replace the motherboard aswell? would this be cost effective?
ive not actually opened up my pc to see what ive got in terms of the motherboard, but im asuming as it is a off the shelf TIME computer that things will be budget like inside, ie and intergrated video card into the motherboard

also, is your mobo ddr2 compatible, as if you have only 256 in it, it is likely your ram is ddr1. Would be easier to get all new internals for it: mobo, ram, processor and gfx card.

since you have a very old celeron i automatically know your motherboard will not accept a cpu thats classed as half decent
if you dont know what your doing id suggest buying a base unit off a site like the above.

Mine is MSI too, and my graphics card. And both will be getting on for three years old with no problems whatsoever. Although its about time I started a new build for mine I think
MSI got a bad rap because Tiny computers used to use them in their systems, and they were forever failing
Simply build your own system to your specification, there's loads of us here to help out with any issues you may have. Just look at what you can spend and get the bit's from here www.ebuyer.com
