Default burning to disc

right i have an OS i want to burn to disk (free and open source of course) but its in a poweriso file. Will this still extract from disk when installing in its current state, or will it need extracting first?

Probably sounds like a dumb question

So this Linux ISO you want to burn....

I just use Nero.

All the ones I have burnt have.

Bootable and installed fine.

Make sure you burn it as an ISO though, dont click on "burn data" like i did because it wont boot from the cd
