Can somebody please tell me how to change the appearance of a link in a post. Ive noticed that some people when posting a link somehow make it appear as 'CLICK ME' or 'CLICK HERE' or whatever they want it to appear as. How is this done?

You use the URL tags, like you would use IMG tags.

Normal link looks like this;

https://passionford.com/forum/showthread.php?t=227972

To make it look like this;

CLICK ME

You need to write it like this;

[ url=https://passionford.com/forum/showthread.php?t=227972 ]CLICK ME[/url][/code]

Notice the [url] at the front of the link, a ] and the end of it, then whatever text you want - CLICK ME in this case - and then another URL tag on the end (with a / in it) - NOTE, I put spaces in to show it as a line of code, you have to have NO spaces in it for it to work! Normally I'd use the CODE tags but for some reason they don't work?

Just remove the [/code] bit, its not meant to be part of what you were trying to do.
Thrush was using it make life easier explaining what you needed to put, but it doesnt work on this forum so just ended up as text
