I have a Samsung LCD tv in my front room and wanna conncet the pc to it, the pc has 2 DVI-D out puts and the tv has 3 HDMI inputs.
I bought a 5M Metre DVI-D to HDMI Male Cable to conect the 2 together, but nothings working.... the tv is saying 'Check signal cable/No signal'
Anyone completed this problem before?
The tv i have is a Samsung LE46M86BD and the pc is a DELL with nVidia 768MB GeForce 8800 GTX, Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme, Adapter Card IEEE 1394 PCI (None of which makes any sence to me!!)

have you gone into the settings on the pc and activated the DVI port on the back of the pc to output a signal? sometimes this needs to be activated manually to actually work.
Right click on the desktop, go to the nvidia control panel and on the tabs click something to do with mutiple screens?
you may have the option of clone or dual view, dependign on config an ddriver version.
also make sure your screen resolutiuon is not set higher than your TV can handle.
