i clicked on install driver the other day on a site but to find it wasnt a driver now every now and then a speech bubble pops up and inside it, it says system has detected a number of spyware on this computer, click here to fix this problem, when i click it it goes to a web site

the icon appears in the bottom right and is in the shape of the windows firewall sheild thing, how can i remove this?

ive got avg and spybot and have ran this but its still here

 

uninstall it.

start --> control panel ---> add or remove programs

 

its not in the list

 

run a lavasoft adaware spyware scan (download it if you dont have it). Should pick it up

And after you ran that download this and run it http://filehippo.com/download_spybot_search_destroy/

Dont worry this isnt shit your downloading you should have them already

Make sure when you have downloaded both, click on "update" it might take a minute or 2 but when its done run them both and delete everything it finds
