Easy, you open up the one YOU want to use. Simple as
Or if you want to have Both opened up, open them both up and just click on the window of your browser to make it active. It's one of the easiest things to do.
I have on my Mac...
Safari (which is what I always use)
Firefox (I forget I have it LOL)
Explorer (which I never use cause that shit freezes more on me than a Russian winter LOL)

if your using firefox and IE the easiest way is to run the IE tab extension which embeds Internet explorer into a firefox tab.. why anyone would want to use IE though is beyond me

Same as Erik - I have Safari, Firefox (which I never use cos I don't like it much) and IE7 (which I use the most)

It's so simple to use more than one browser tho! YOu know you click the IE logo to open IE? Well install Firefox and then just click the Firefox logo to open Firefox as the broswer! Once in the FF browser, any links clikced will just open in a new FF tab or window anyway (or IE if you are using that)

You will need to set one as the primary browser, so pick the one you use the most I guess... Or pick FF for the g/f so she don't yell at you that it ain't working

Here's a pic of all three running;

Bit crowded but normally all are full screen - just to show all on screen at same time

i used to use opera exclusively because of the tabs feature. and it wasn't microshaft. then when firefox got tabs i started using it. however i think opera is a smaller software and runs a bit faster than the rest. of course nowadays with the speed of the newer processors, that really isn't a concern anymore.

I agree, I only have Opera on my system because I stuck it there for a look a while back, I can't say I really use it other than to test site code to see how it renders the page as it does not offer any advantage over the other browser imho

opera used to be far superior to both IE and mozilla, but now both of them have caught up and or passed opera. still not a bad browser though.

I remember back in the day when we got our first PC - think it was Windows 3.1 but not sure... Back then I don't even think there was a Windows Internet Explorer, and I remember using Netscape to view stuff on t'interweb.....

You can't be missing IE as it's part of the OS, so it has to be there....

Should look like this;
