Default Computer signing in probs

Hi there all
Just a quick query i have with my pc, i have two PC's at home one i use all the time which is a Emachines 8210 and one that i dont use is a Tiny.
the problem i have is that the Emachine pc will not let me sign to this site but when i get the Tiny out and use that i have no problems signing in.
Also at work i also have an Emachine's PC in my office which will not let me sign on either but the Acer laptop i also have in the office lets me sign in again no problems.
So if can help and possibly shed some light on what the reason could be would be of great help

Hi there mate
Firstly i do not get any error messages once i press login it just refreshes the screen with the login boxs empty and keeps doing that on both machines , both machines are on xp home edition and the one at home uses blueyonder 10mb work not sure through a server, the one at home used to log in about a year ago not done so since the one never has and only had the work one for the last year anyway. and both machines use microsoft explorer the home one the old version the one at work the the latest version.

hmm im not sure what the issue is, hard to say when i cant get to the pc to have a look i think from what you said the pcs that wont sign in are running the older version of I.E? if so make sure they have the latest, and also have you tried clearing temp files/history? even if you have download this and run it http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ (top right, click on download lastest version) basically this will do all the work for you, it will delete history and all that crap that sits on any pc until you delete it, excellent little program, just note that once you use this it will also delete saved passwords for websites so you will have to re-type everything.

After you have done all that, if it still doesnt work then try downloading a different web browser http://www.filehippo.com/download_firefox/, thats firefox, ive been using this for the last year and its excellent, stops all the crappy pop ups etc, amongst other things that I.E cant do

If it STILL wont work, then im stumped

Excellent stuff glad to help

Id download ccleaner on your other comps aswell, its great

A tip, on ccleaner click on "issues" on the right then click scan for issues at the bottom, this will also clear out your registry(having lots of shit in the registry can also contribute to funny goings on)
