What is it ?

 

lol its a first person shooter. on a continent (several continents per map), with three teams. Idea is for each team to capture and secure all the bases on a continent, and then move onto the next. bit more complicated than that, but thats the main idea. Very well thought out game as all teams are completely even and thus the game never ends. each team has a different seection of weapons and vehicles / air vehicles making it a constantly changing game with so much to learn. 3d ness of the game is amazing, actually feels like your in the game after 15minutes of playing.

Sounds a bit geeky really, but i enjoy playing it

 

There's a few of us in work that were thinking about starting playing Planetside, but then Funcom decided to offer a year's subscription to Anarchy Online utterly free, so we've started playing that instead!

Might consider Planetside if we get bored of AO, though...
