Help with Java
On my control panel, i go to internet options, then advanced and scroll down to Java Sun and along side this in brackets it says 'requires restart'.
Does this mean its not working correctly, and how do i restart it if it needs to be?
Thanks.

It means your pc needs a reboot, however I guess you have tried that already! It may just be "stuck" uninstall your current version and then go to java site again and download the latest version, try that.
good luck!

The "require restart" is only if you tick or untick that box - the changes won't take effect untill you restart the computer, as it has to load from start up

It will always say requires restart - thats additional information.
If that box is unticked and you tick it, you have to restart the PC in order for the changes to take place.
Likewise, if the box is ticked and you untick it, you have to restart the PC in order for the changes to take place.
It doesn't mean it's not working cos it says requires restart..... it means "this option requires you to restart your PC if you want to apply/unapply the setting"
