Your decision Lee. You won`t get same buzz of the FRS, i promise you.I got the Evo8 which as far as im concerned is a better car buy far than the FRS, and that doesn`t live up to the thrill of my cossie m8. To be honest you would be better holding out for cash. Think once you swap you`ll regret it. I did and ended up wanting another.Only way around it is to buy a run of the mill car. It has no expectations to live up too.............

Yeh sounds the bizz. Are you still goin sat to swap for FRS? How quick do you want to sell, say if i was to come uo sat & view it & maybe leave a deposit until i sell my EVO..What you say??????????????????

Macker. It would have to be a substantial, non refundable deposit for me to hold it and lose potential buyers! I am going to look at the FRS. Its 3 hours away, so is going to be a full day saturday, but maybe you could come to look in the evening! I wont be making no decisions saturday on the FRS anyways. I like to mull things over!

Could swap a mint EVO8 for a BMW. Get a good price if you traded in at garage..I paid 18.5k just 3 months ago. Spent 1k on it including(service)...If you dont intend to keep FRS, why not have fully loaded EVO8,6 speed & all the extras..This was 28,350 new & i can safely say this car will meet your standards....Worth more than 17k................................

CHEERS M7COS for your support, This is a mint car.Sold a mint cossie to buy this..Big mistake, always owned fords,just want a minter again to keep.Cant beat a cossie, mines still local, GUTTED............. Just wish Lee would do a deal.....

1st choice for me Pete. Mint small turbo with low miles, had modded big turbo. To be honest Pete dont think i`ll get this one,as hes got chance of FRS which he wants.Dont want to drop price anymore on mine,loosing big money now.Yours is really nice too.If no luck will go to some shows & events, advertise it there bound to be some there....Unless you want to do a deal????????????

Mitsubishi are fetching cheeper models, yes thats true" BUT" they are lower bhp models with far less spec, so won`t really affect the market quite as bad as you think..Evo8s are still pulling decent coin, so are the 7s & the 6. Mine was the cheapest 8 in the North West trader last week, so can`t be dropping that quick..As for the Evo9 will have an effect thats true, but higher spec earlier models ie 7,8 will still favour the lower spec 9, have to by higher spec model which will cost 10 grand+.............

no worries mate I do understand how you feel,hence my advice to you to sell privatley rather then go to a dealer,just keep trying the problem is its get very expensive at Ł40 a time in the trader only to get idiots calling asking stupid question and for photos,I hate selling cars i would rather break them unfortunalty I cant break them all,
try E Bay you never know your luck plus there maybe someone out there with a Escort in swap,for the sake of a Ł10 its worth a go
as to dealer making "thousands" dont you believe it take off Ł57% of the profit for the goverment and a bit for overheads theres not a lot left in the tin

JCT28 seem to do well with his prices, was going to give me 17.5k against the rubbish he had, and all his EVOS are well priced 19k up, but as you said to me before people do pay that.Doesn`t make sense thats all...........
