you were selling your car too cheap imo however you put the price on your car, you could of sold it easily a few times going off the replies on here ect...

you tried your luck on ebay so give it a chance and the bidders a chance, it will go up more.

At the end of the day if someone was in front of you with cash and is happy to pay 6.5k or 8k it's down to what people think its worth to the buyer if I was closer I would have be for a view at least as I would love this car and then you can argue over price or deal people who start giving prices going on pics really can't talk you need to see it in flesh .when I went to buy my sapph I paid the amount I thought was good but people I know say to me really do you think you paid to much and my reply is no I'm happy with the amount I paid that all that counts .for the amount that has been asked for seem to cheap true but is a good price for a nice example it does have a few faults hense price maybe but that said mint mk2's are 12k plus

Nice escort this.
I wanted it a few months back when i was selling my mini, but thought it sold on eBay or maybe it didn't reach the reserve? I think it ended on £5700 or something.
There seems to be a few cars selling on eBay but then re listed or advertised again.
Maybe false bidding or too many dreamers about.
Either way good luck with the sale mate.

Thankyou for your kind remarks like any old car viewing is essential its a nice example and worth a drive if I lived more central I'd be sure it would have gone but I'm down in Plymouth these old car are not great to drive miles and miles so if you hire a trailor and petrol ect it get expensive if I get a genuine offer of 7k I will end early as ebay can be full of time wasters it could reach 10k but if know one turns up this means nothing
