Porsche grey mk1 Focus RS - ***PROV SOLD***
Hi guys,
After owning my car for almost 2 years, i've now come to the point that I need to sell. After moving into a new property i've found that I no longer have the time or money to do what I had planned with her.
Since the sale in August 2011, the car has only been used on short journeys once or twice a week and a couple of longer runs to shows.
I bought the car with every intention of being a nippy run about but this lasted about 6 months before I changed the seats out for a pair of Cobra Evolution Pro's and harnesses to hold me in better on a couple of track days I had planned. Things then (as they do) quickly spiralled into a modifying frenzy.
The car has been regularly serviced by myself every 6 months with receipts kept in the extensive receipt folder.
The car has been detailed by a close friend of mine to a very high standard 3 times a year or before every major show. This was until January this year when I fancied a little bit of a change and swapped out the classic Imperial blue paint for Porsche Grey Black with 'off white' interior. A bit of a daring move but from the response the car has had at Central Day and throughout meets, it seems to have paid off. The engine bay is the only part of the car which hasn't been painted due to me wanting to wait until the end of this year to take the engine out to do this, I have 5ltrs of Grey Black that will be included in the sale.
Although not a full out and out spec compared to others, this spec has done me proud over the near 2 years and has proved to be reliable without the compromise of performance.
The car has not long tipped 100,000 miles and has just had a new head gasket, head bolts, cam belt, tensioner, oil and filter change, inlet and exhaust gaskets and the hybrid turbo has been completely refurbished.
The spec list is as follows:
- 2003 Focus RS - Build no. 2097
- Taxed until 31st October 2013 and will come with 12 months MOT.

BAD POINTS -
Every car has them and I would rather these points are raised now than on an inspection.
The front wheels have chipped powder coat on the lips.
There is a small crack and a scratch in the front bumper on the n/s, unfortunately I won't have the time to have this repaired before sale so I am willing to compromise on price for this.
I will be looking for £8750 ono, obviously i'm a realist and open to offers but anybody who wants to offer a far cry from this price, please don't waste my time or your own.
I am looking for a quick sale.
The car is located in Dartford, Kent (approx 5 minutes from the QE2 bridge).
No test drives unless you can provide proof of insurance and the car will not leave me until I either have cash in my hand or funds have cleared into my bank account.

lovely looking motor there matey. I'm on with trying to sell mine at the minute. Prices seem to be at rock bottom. Good luck with the sale. Hopefully you'll get an offer not to far from your asking price.

I'd say with a set of ap's it'd be worth what your asking, realistically if you want it sold I'd go about £750 cheaper at £8750. Very nice car none the less.

Lee, I think you should buy this for Sarah and sell that shoddy Vauxhall on

The mileage is high but it's been kept in a way to reflect the price. Regular servicing, not wanted for a thing.
Plus recently had the head skimmed, new head gasket, oil and filter, cam belt, tensioners and the turbo completely rebuilt.
I'd be more than happy to take a Clio 182 as PX too

Hi Dan,
I used it as my only car for a little while with no issues, starts on the button first time etc. The coilovers have adjustable damping so can be adjusted to what suits you.
This is also going to be in PF mag this month for a full feature
I'll get some interior pics for you this evening
